Georgia Bulldogs Land Four-Star Lineman Kennedee Jackson

Georgia Bulldogs have flipped four-star offensive lineman Kennedee Jackson from Florida, a significant recruiting win.

What happened?

The 6-foot-6, 301-pound Jackson committed to the Gators on June 2 but changed his mind on June 13.

He becomes the highest-rated in-state prospect in the Bulldogs' 2027 recruiting class.

Why it matters for Georgia Bulldogs

Jackson is the No. 8 player from Georgia, according to the 247Sports Composite, and the nation’s No. 112 prospect.

He joins the No. 9 in-state prospect Kelsey Adams, an offensive tackle from Langston Hughes.

The Bulldogs now have the third-highest-rated recruit in the 2027 class and the 14th overall commitment.

What comes next?

The top two commitments are a pair of five-stars: running back Kemon Spell from McKeensport, Pa., and tight end Jaxon Dollar from Denver, N.C.

The Bulldogs will face Tennessee State Tigers on September 5, 2026.

And with Jackson on board, the team's recruiting class is shaping up to be a strong one.

But the competition for top prospects is fierce, and the Bulldogs will need to keep recruiting hard.

So the commitment of Jackson is a significant win for the team.

The Bulldogs' 2027 recruiting class now includes several top prospects, making it an exciting time for the program.

Jackson's commitment was announced on his X account, where he re-posted news of his commitment from Rivals' Hayes Fawcett.

The Bulldogs' coaching staff, led by head coach Kirby Smart, has been working hard to secure top talent.

And with the addition of Jackson, the team's offense is looking stronger than ever.

The Bulldogs will look to build on this momentum as they head into the new season.
