The Georgia Bulldogs started their second week of spring practice on Tuesday, marking their fourth practice session out of 15.
Georgia head coach Kirby Smart outlined the team's simple goals: to grow the bottom of the roster and improve the top.
The Bulldogs had a good offseason program with six days of 6 a.m. practices to create competition and culture among the players.
Georgia returns key starters, including quarterback Gunner Stockton, running back Nate Frazier, and defensive tackle Elijah Griffin.
The team also added eight players from the transfer portal, including running back Dante Dowdell and wide receiver Isiah Canion.
The Bulldogs will continue their spring practice, culminating in the G-Day game on April 18, and are looking forward to their next game against Tennessee State Tigers on 2026-09-05.
The team is hoping to return to championship form after their 2025 season ended with 12 victories but a loss in the CFP quarterfinals.
The Bulldogs' loaded high school signing class, which finished the cycle No. 11 in the country, will also be a key factor in their success.
The team's practice sessions will be crucial in determining their starting lineup and strategy for the upcoming season.
And with the addition of new players, the Bulldogs are looking to strengthen their roster and make a deep run in the playoffs.
But for now, the focus is on spring practice and getting the team ready for the upcoming season.
So the Bulldogs will continue to work hard and prepare for their first game against Tennessee State Tigers on 2026-09-05.
