Georgia Bulldogs Host 16 Official Visitors on Big Recruiting Weekend

The Georgia Bulldogs are hosting 16 official visitors this weekend, aiming to boost their 2027 recruiting class.

What's at Stake?

The Bulldogs currently have eight public commitments, including 5-star running back Kemon Spell, who will return next weekend for his official visit.

The team is looking to add more top targets, such as 5-star DL Marcus Fakatou, who will visit on Sunday.

Recruiting Targets

Fakatou, a 6-foot-7, 275-pounder, is one of only three 5-star targets with an official visit scheduled to UGA.

Kasi Currie, the nation's No. 4 DL, is another key target, with both recruitments expected to be NIL-driven.

Defensive Commitments

The Bulldogs have just two defensive commitments for the class, with two of their biggest defensive targets, 4-star CB Chance Gilbert and 4-star LB Joakim Gouda, visiting this weekend.

Gilbert has stated that UGA is his outright leader, while Gouda is also considered a top target.

The weekend presents an opportunity to bolster the defensive front, with 4-star South Carolina DL Seth Tillman also visiting.

Tillman has long had UGA as one of his top schools, with South Carolina and Michigan pushing to sign him.

And with the addition of 3-star DL Waylon Wooten, the team is looking to stack up more silent commitments.
